Safeguarding

Safeguarding

At Sweet Peas we recognise that all children need to feel safe and secure to have the full ability to develop and flourish.

Safeguarding children in our care and their families is of paramount importance to us and at the forefront of our daily working interactions, risk assessments and any improvements to our operations and offering.

Each of our policies relating to Safeguarding are written in accordance with the Government issued document “Working Together to Safeguard Children” with an aim to keeping children happy, healthy and safe. Our Team will work with you to create an open partnership to safeguard your child.

All members of the team at Sweet Peas have annual safeguarding training and have an annual DBS check is carried out in addition to the statutory requirements for working in Early Years settings.

Since my daughter started here she has come on leaps and bounds. Her Social Skills have got so much better. As an only child she did seem to have an issue with sharing and getting along other children but since the staff here have been working with her she is absolutely great now and she has established lots of little friendships.

Enrolment

We value the importance of a smooth transition into nursery for both you and your child which is why we limit the number of children who can start each month, regardless of availability.
