Covid Safe Environment
In March 2020 the unthinkable happened and our nation was put under national lockdown to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Sweet Peas remained open to families of Key Workers throughout and have worked hard to ensure we are COVID secure for our children, our team and our community.
We have a thorough and rigorous risk assessment in place which is updated and shared with our families regularly.
We invested over £10,000 in furniture and resources to ensure we could provide children with familiar surroundings when we constructed our new “bubbles”. Contrary to government guidelines which recommended Early Years settings were no longer required to work in bubbles from July 2020, we have chosen to keep this way of working to keep children and team members safe.
Our risk assessment includes staggered drop off and collecting times to prevent a queue, consistent team members and children in a bubble, more regular cleaning of resources and our high touch areas, the nursery is fogged on the last Friday of each month and we have purchased and use Zoono to sanitise and protect our nursery.

I want to thank you for your continued love and support since lockdown. As a business it must have been a very challenging time and you have kept us informed and offered support throughout.
