Nutrition at Sweet Peas
We are passionate about providing exciting, freshly home cooked meals that meet your childrens’ daily nutritional and dietary needs whilst introducing them to a variety of flavours and textures. We understand that this is vital for growing bodies and minds and that it supports the development of healthy eating habits that can positively influence their health during childhood and adulthood.
Breakfast is prepared and served from the kitchenette area in each of our Suites where a self-serve system is encouraged for our older children. We have a varied offering each day to energise our children and help them have a great start to a great day!
Claire, our Catering and Hospitality Manager has introduced a new meal pattern which sees us serving our usual high quality, nutritious 2 courses at lunchtime which include a main dish and either a starter or a dessert.
For tea, we now serve 1 main course which has allowed us to increase the portion size of the tea and provide lots more healthy vegetables as a side enabling us to improve the balance of the daily nutritional requirements even more and decrease sugar intake.

Since my daughter started here she has come on leaps and bounds. Her Social Skills have got so much better. As an only child she did seem to have an issue with sharing and getting along other children but since the staff here have been working with her she is absolutely great now and she has established lots of little friendships.
