At Sweet Peas we recognise the vital importance of having an identified member of our team that both you and your child can develop a close professional relationship with, this team member will become your childs ‘Key Person’.
Your child’s Key Person adopts a variety of important functions such as providing your child’s routine, planning activities based around your child’s interests, easing separation from parents/carers, meeting their individual needs and, sharing information with you, including the accurate assessments relating to Child Development which they will complete throughout the duration of your child’s time with us, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Since my daughter started here she has come on leaps and bounds. Her Social Skills have got so much better. As an only child she did seem to have an issue with sharing and getting along other children but since the staff here have been working with her she is absolutely great now and she has established lots of little friendships.
Parents as Partners
We strive to develop and maintain strong parent partnerships with our families, this is so we can work together to bridge the gap between home and nursery.
Funding
All children attending Sweet Peas will have access to the same activities, curriculum and items to assist effortless child care such as nappies and wipes, milk, sun cream and all snacks.
Safeguarding
We recognise that all children need to feel safe and secure to have the full ability to develop and flourish. Safeguarding children in our care and their families is of paramount importance to us.
Enrolment
We value the importance of a smooth transition into nursery for both you and your child which is why we limit the number of children who can start each month, regardless of availability.
