Sweet Peas Garforth is a beautiful, family owned private day nursery for children from birth to five years old. Our purpose is simple: to provide effortless childcare for families and exceptional education and life experiences for your child. Parents tell us they feel at ease from day one. Children arrive to a warm welcome, follow wonderful adventures with friends and head home happy after a fun filled day. You will find plentiful, safe on-site parking for easy drop off and collection, and we are close to local train stations if you are heading into work.

We are passionate about exciting, freshly home cooked meals that meet children’s daily nutritional and dietary needs while introducing a variety of flavours and textures. Breakfast is prepared in each Suite and older children are encouraged to self-serve to build confidence and independence. At lunch we serve two nutritious courses with a main and either a starter or dessert. For tea we offer a hearty main course with larger portions and lots of healthy vegetables to balance daily nutrition and reduce sugar intake.

Your child’s wellbeing sits at the heart of everything we do. A dedicated Key Person will build a caring, professional relationship with you and your child, plan personalised Next Steps and share regular updates. Each Key Person is paired with a Significant Other to provide continuity when they are away, so there is always a familiar adult who knows your child well. Our Curriculum and Well-Being Manager and Deputy Manager support the team to ensure routines, training and knowledge reflect current best practice, and we keep an open door so you can talk to us any time.

Our holistic curriculum is carefully planned from birth to five years and rooted in a high quality emotional environment that puts your unique child at the centre of every decision. Through play your child will explore, solve problems and relate to others, guided by practitioners who ask thoughtful questions and design activities that spark curiosity. We celebrate British values through the year with festivities and experiences that help children learn about their own family, culture and beliefs and those of others, from traditional stories and art to tasting new foods and sharing their own experiences.

We keep nursery life simple so you can go to work with peace of mind. Fees include Pampers nappies, hypo-allergenic wipes, nappy cream, milks from formula to cow’s milk, sun cream, home cooked meals and two snacks each day. All activities within our rich curriculum are included at no extra cost. We open from 7.30am to give you a calm head start for your commute, with abundant safe parking and the option to leave your car and walk to nearby train stations.
