Family Owned Nursery in Rothwell
Meet the Team

Liane – Nursery Receptionist
My name is Liane and I have recently joined Sweet Peas admin after teaching Early Years for the past 20 years. I love working with children and their families and it brightens my day when I see them coming into nursery with big smiles on their faces.
Most of my spare time is spent looking after my animals. I have two dogs, Fleur and Mavis and a very large and demanding tortoise, Kevin. When I am not looking after them, I love being outside, visiting historical settings and watching Star Wars!

Millie
My name is Millie and I have been working in childcare since 2021 I have a Level 3 qualification in childcare and continued to gain a Level 6 Batchelors Degree in young children’s learning and development.
I love working with children, seeing them develop their little characters and becoming more independent throughout nursery.
In my own time, I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy going on holiday and travelling/visiting different countries.

Tracy
My name is Tracy. With 13+ years of nursery experience, I love helping children learn and grow. I especially enjoy bringing stories to life using props and puppets to spark their imaginations. Outside of work, I love seaside trips and caravan holidays with my two children. I am passionate about creating safe, happy, and positive environments for children.

Vic
My name is Vic. I began my childcare career in 2011 and have worked in a variety of settings, gaining lots of experience and knowledge along the way. One of my favourite parts of working with children is making up songs and singing with them—even if I’m not the best singer!
At home, I live with my husband, our daughter, and our little pug, Pascal, who always keeps us entertained.

Weijun
My name is Weijun, and I joined Sweet Peas in 2025.
I’m currently studying for my Level 5 qualification in Early Years and also hold a degree in Counselling and Mental Health. I’ve previously worked in both schools and nurseries, with all my experience focused in Early Years.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to help children learn and thrive, and I believe Sweet Peas is a wonderful place to do so because of its strong core values and fantastic facilities. I love joining in with the children’s imaginative play — we often go on exciting adventures and explore new ideas together.
In my spare time, I enjoy going on hiking adventures of my own, especially around the beautiful Lake District area.
