Two days a week with stretched funding

For families looking for two regular nursery days throughout the year, stretched funding spreads your child’s annual entitlement across more weeks.

Rather than using all 30 funded hours each week during term time, your child uses fewer funded hours each week over a longer period. This helps them enjoy a familiar routine and keep those lovely connections with their friends and key person throughout the year.

We’ll show you how your funded hours fit into your chosen days and explain any additional paid hours before you book.

Our ten-hour full-day options are 7:30am–5:30pm or 8:00am–6:00pm, subject to availability.

All-year-round places – three days a week or more

For families who need childcare throughout the year, we offer places for three or more full days a week. Your little one can enjoy a familiar nursery routine across the seasons, building friendships and feeling at home with our caring team.

Our ten-hour full-day options are 7:30am–5:30pm or 8:00am–6:00pm, subject to availability.

For children eligible for the full 30-hour entitlement, funding provides 30 hours a week for 38 weeks of the year, equivalent to three ten-hour nursery days. The remaining 14 weeks are paid childcare.

If your child attends more than three days a week, hours above the 30-hour funded allowance are also paid childcare during the funded weeks.

This arrangement gives your family a consistent place throughout the year. Before you book, we’ll provide a clear breakdown of your funded hours, paid childcare and any optional meals and consumables you choose.

Term-time-only places

If childcare during term time suits your family best, we also offer term-time-only places, subject to availability.

These sessions run from 9:00am–3:00pm during the agreed funded term dates, giving your child time to play, learn and build friendships while spending the school holidays with you.

Each session is six hours. A child using their full 30-hour entitlement would attend five sessions a week over 38 weeks. We’ll confirm the days and term dates with you before your little one starts.

15 funded hours for eligible two-year-olds

For eligible two-year-olds receiving additional support, we offer places using the 15-hour funded entitlement, subject to availability.

This provides 15 funded hours a week over 38 weeks, starting from the term after your child’s second birthday, subject to eligibility.

These early nursery experiences are full of little discoveries: finding a favourite story, trying something new and making those first friendships. Our caring team will support your child as they settle in and grow in confidence.

We’ll help you understand eligibility and discuss how the 15 hours can fit into our available sessions.

Meals, snacks and everyday comforts

We want your little one to feel comfortable, cared for and ready for a day of discovery. Our optional meals and consumables packages help make nursery mornings a little easier for families.

Meals

From breakfast to afternoon tea, mealtimes bring children together to enjoy food, share stories and try new flavours.

Our daily meal package includes breakfast, lunch, a snack and tea, plus water and milk. The meals your child enjoys will depend on their session times.

Consumables and extra activities

Our daily package includes formula milk, nappies, wipes, nappy bags, Sudocrem, Vaseline, Aveeno, Calpol and sun cream, according to your child’s needs and agreed care arrangements.

Any medication is administered in line with our medication policy and parental consent.

The package also includes optional extra activities offered during the term, such as baking – lovely opportunities for little hands to mix, make and explore.

Optional package Daily charge
Meals, snacks and drinks £10
Consumables and extra activities £6
Both packages £16

During funded sessions, these packages are optional extras charged separately from your child’s funded education and care.

You can access your child’s funded place without purchasing them. Please speak with us about providing your own suitable food and consumables or opting out of extra activities. Your child will continue to enjoy our everyday learning, play and care.

We’ll provide a clear breakdown of funded hours, any additional paid childcare and the optional extras you choose, so you know what to expect before your child starts.
